CyberPatriot Student Opportunities: 2025–2026 Season
The Museum is currently seeking motivated high school students to join CyberPatriot teams for the 2025–2026 season—including the formation of a new all-female team.
CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air & Space Forces Association to inspire K–12 students toward careers in cybersecurity and other STEM disciplines critical to our nation’s future. Participants compete in a series of online rounds, managing virtual networks and responding to real-world cybersecurity scenarios.
Registration for teams opens May 16, 2025, and closes August 15, 2025. Students begin by competing in local and statewide rounds, with the opportunity to advance to national-level competition. Participation is completely free, and all materials are provided through the generous support of the Air Force Museum Foundation (No Federal Endorsement Implied).

“Cybersecurity touches almost every part of our lives now, and it’s important that we help people understand it—whether they’re students just starting to explore STEM or professionals looking to strengthen their skills,” said Tina Harris, Museum Education Specialist at the NMUSAF. “By offering these programs here at the Museum, we’re not only supporting education, but showing how today’s digital challenges connect to the Air Force’s mission and our nation’s future.”
Free Remote CyberPatriot Camp Opportunity
In addition to the competitive season, the Museum is offering a free remote CyberPatriot summer camp and is seeking local schools to serve as host sites. Host sites must be able to livestream the program and may request an on-site cyber instructor or mentor to assist.
The host site application deadline is May 9. For more information, contact Tina Harris, Cyber Education Program Manager, at NMUSAF.MUT.CyberPatriot@us.af.mil.
