Tickets available Nov. 6 for Holiday Concert at National Museum of the U.S. Air Force Published Oct. 30, 2014 By Ken LaRock National Museum of the U.S. Air Force DAYTON, Ohio -- Note: We have distributed all available tickets for this concert. The U.S. Air Force Band of Flight will present a holiday concert titled "The Gift of Family" at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. Video clips from deployed service members will be shared throughout the concert and will include messages to family members back home about their favorite memories of the holidays. Due to the popularity of this free concert, tickets are required and will be available for public distribution beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6. Requests made before this time will not be accepted. Tickets may be obtained one of three ways. Beginning Nov. 6, requests can be made in person at the museum Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Those who cannot make it in person may request tickets by submitting an online form at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/nmusafholidayconcert or by calling (937) 255-5924 or (937) 255-7207. Those requesting tickets must provide their name, phone number, mailing address, and the number of tickets they would like mailed to them. The limit is four tickets per person and they will be mailed beginning Nov. 6. The concert will feature the United States Air Force Band of Flight, Systems Go and Wright Brass. Special guest artists include 10 members from the American Military Spouses Choir, which finished as semi-finalists in season 8 of "America's Got Talent" and have shared the stage with such artists as David Foster, Chaka Khan and Chris Botti. There will be something for everyone at the concert, such as vocal selections, a children's portion and a sing-a-long. Musical selections will blend old and new, including holiday songs by Leroy Anderson, Harry Connick Jr., The Carpenters, Mariah Carey and many other Christmas favorites. The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located on Springfield Street, six miles northeast of downtown Dayton. It is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day). Admission and parking are free.
