100 Missions Up North

DAYTON, Ohio - Lt. Col. Robert Krone's boonie hat. Attached to the hat is a Royal Thai Air Force pilot’s badge. Also displayed is his unusual trophy for completing a 100-mission tour. Lt Col Robert Krone: 1st Squadron Commander 100-Mission Tour

Commander of the 469th TFS, 388th TFW, Lt. Col. Krone's first "counter" was on Nov. 15, 1965. On June 3, 1966, he became the first squadron commander to complete a 100-mission tour.

All visitors may be screened with a metal detector upon entry. In addition all bags are subject to search and may be placed through an X-Ray machine. Weapons are not permitted including pocket knives and firearms, to include conceal carry and other dangerous weapons.
