Admission to the museum is FREE and there is NO CHARGE for parking.

The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

The 8th Air Force Control Tower and Nissen Hut, located in the Air Park, are closed until further notice. The Air Park remains open.

There is a charge for the Air Force Museum Theatre, flight simulators, Launchpad Shop 'n Snack and Museum Store. Please visit the Air Force Museum Foundation website or call (937) 253-4629 for show times and prices.

All visitors may be screened with a metal detector upon entry. In addition all bags are subject to search and may be placed through an X-Ray machine.

Weapons are not permitted including pocket knives.

* Firearms, to include conceal carry and other dangerous weapons, are specifically prohibited in Federal facilities in accordance with 18 USC §930 (c)

Wheelchairs and motorized carts

Wheelchairs and motorized carts are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis to museum visitors (weight limit is 350 pounds). Please bring your own wheelchair if possible.

Strollers

There is a limited supply of strollers available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring your own stroller if possible.

Notice: Visitors may be filmed, photographed or recorded by the U.S. Air Force for educational and promotional uses, including for posting on public websites and social media.  
Individuals are permitted to take their own photographs or videos while touring the museum.

The Valkyrie Café has re-opened and will be available daily from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. We are continuing to make upgrades to the Cafe, and during this time will offer a limited menu. To view the current Valkyrie menu visit the 88th ABW Force Support Squadron website. 

The “Launchpad Shop N’ Snack,” located on the overlook of the Cold War Gallery in the third building, is open daily from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. offering cold sandwiches, snacks, and beverages. Visit the Air Force Museum Foundation website to learn more. 

Visitors who wish to bring a lunch may continue using the outdoor picnic areas in Memorial Park.
